Within the flash of an instant,
a thought was calling to me, You were the one always saying that, "I love the view of the sea" And looming far in the distance, a ship was cruising on by, the waves were moving as ever, near the scarlet-colored beach I lent my ears to the voice of the unchanging tides, while searching for the hope I'd lost, your hand was reaching out to mine The summer days spent with you along your warm touch, was drifting on the sea, The sunset falling behind the curtain of smiles, was shining so gracefully The empty silence continues, A moment passing on by, The dying wind of the ocean, was already feeling shy Beyond the gleam in your eyes, shadows were lingering, while seeking for a place to stay, you hand was waving me goodbye The sunset peaking behind the clouds in the sky, was laughing down on me, The summer breeze stopping by , was more than enough to make me feel come alive Ah, it's all a lie... My soaking shirt wrapped up in sand, is filling me with your embrace, It's pulling me back into the deep blue Ah, just like a dream... The summer days spent with you along your warm touch, are washed-up memories, The sunset falling behind the curtain of smiles, was shining so gracefully Ah, there's no one who can get in our way, No matter what they say, Just for a moment let go, breathe in every word and now, close those eyes of yours... Ah, it's all a lie... it's all a lie... |
Note: There are two reasons why I wrote lyrics for this song.
First off, this is one of my favorite MikitoP songs, not just because I love the color orange and the marvelous, blue ocean, but also because it describes
MikitoP's style as a whole perfectly: Mellow and delicate.
Secondly, the story the song tries to portray reminded me of a bittersweet fiction I once read. (Disregard this if you don't want to hear spoilers or so)
Basically it nails down to two people (Person A and Person B) falling in love at the beach over the course of summer until an accident had happened and
Person A fell into a coma. Two years had passed since then and Person A awakened.
Person A had no indications what had happened during these years and no clue of Person B's whereabouts. Person A visited the beach every single day after the accident hoping Person B would someday show up while looking back onto "washed-up memories" (hints at song).
That's the gist of it (It looks silly when I try to summarize it, sorry about that).
The ending of the story?
